Last week Arc’teryx invited me to join their photo challenge in Sogndal, the Dark Days Photo Challenge. It’s a great event, which invites skiers and photographers to team up and present the best photo presentation at the end of the stay. So, for three days I got to ski with some great Arc’teryx athletes and the photographer Jacob Slob. Jacob is a danish guy who ended up in St. Anton. There’s some really nice pics from Sogndal, and lots of more on his homepage.
This is my first year on the team, and it’s always exciting to get to know new people. Arc’teryx sure knows how to pick their athletes, if it’s not to bold of me to say. Knut Myking, Seb Mayer, Hanna Finkel and Jose Carron, along with boss Cyrill Spale is a great gang of people to hang with! It sure was fun! The conditions was insane. Can’t remember last time skiing felt like flying like that. It made me forget all about my knee. I guess that’s good news! Playing in the snow, crashing, jumping, struggling and laughing.
I highly recommend to give Sogndal a visit. And if you do, make sure to check in with Marta Lidstrom at Uteplassen! Best vibes out there!
Now I’m on my way to Niseko, Japan baby!
